1st Place - MAT

M.A.T, abbreviated for Medical Assisting Technology, transfers medical supplies reliability, efficiently, and punctually in medical environments. M.A.T will be able to verify that the medical supply (i.e medication) is inputted into the robot is correct, carry medication and supplies, maneuver with hospital corridors while avoiding objects, identify the correct patient room, and communicate by sending information to a master computer and mobile app. Paired with a M.A.T robot is a mobile app to provide information, instructions, map viewing, and alerts about the current condition of the robot.



Eunice Wells

Senior Product Manager at Workday

Eunice Wells is a CIPP/E certified senior product manager at Workday where she works on the Student Core team. Her particular expertise is on data privacy compliance and oversight, and she serves as product owner on features like student privacy settings, institutional FERPA compliance, disabilities, and accommodations, among others. She is passionate about supporting caregivers in the workplace and has held leadership positions in Workday's many employee-centered groups. In her spare time, she likes to collect wine and enjoys researching places to travel with her economics professor husband and daughter. She began her career at Workday as a Communications Manager, supporting strategic planning, development, and coordination of the marketing & communications program in the Education and Government Division and parlayed her previous higher education experience as Program Manager of the UC Berkeley Master of Development Practice program into her current position as a Product Manager. Prior to Workday she has had extensive experience in the consulting space, as well as entrepreneurial experience having started her own consulting and real estate firm in Illinois.
